I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! At Nedley’s Ice Cream & Coffee Café, you may need a bit of time to ponder what flavor to choose. “I have 40 flavors in my dipping cabinet at any given time,” said owner Ellen Wisniewski. Located at 200 E. South Boundary St. in The Shoppes At South Boundary in Perrysburg, Nedley’s celebrated its one year anniversary this past July.

Also included in their array of frozen treats is Wow Cow fat free soft serve ice cream, frozen custard, and every topping you can imagine. According to Wisniewski, it doesn’t stop with simply ice cream and coffee. Customers can also find fresh bagels and donuts from Tom’s Donuts, and gluten-free and organic baked goods fresh from Organic Bliss. Wisniewski is a big proponent of buying from and supporting local businesses, supporting the community. Another way she’s given back to the community? “I haven’t raised prices since I’ve opened”, she said.

Raising two boys ages 10 and 13, Wisniewski knows about keeping kids entertained. Nedley’s provides games and books for the kids -- maybe mom can sit and enjoy a cup of fresh brewed coffee.

Nedley’s custom-made ice cream cakes and pies are sure to wow the crowd at your next celebration, too. They open at 6:30a.m. Monday through Friday, and Noon on Saturday and Sunday.
